Uncle Funky's Boards is a skate shop in Manhattan's West Village located in a basement space. Owned by Kristen Howard and her husband Jeff Gaites, the shop is a warm environment adorned with skateboards, funky designs, skate history, skate regalia. The store offers all kinds of skateboards; longboards, street, cruisers, pool/vert, and vintage skateboards, also many board components. A grip tape artist, @bubblegriptapes on instagram also sells out of Uncle Funky's and shows how ingrained the store is with the New York Skate community.
