Tompkins Square Park is an open space that has transformed into a hub for local skaters. The location is is made up of wood ramps and makeshift obstacles which are ever shifting as skaters create their perfect run. Skaters at many ages can be found from anytime from the early morning which many beginners prefer to sundown where a lot of the great skaters come out. While the skate park between its rough blacktop ground and makeshift obstacles can be seen as mildly janky, local skaters have a great love for the park and while the tricks seem simple thats what shows a skaters creativity and skill.

Skaters featured: Liz (black vest), Jada (blue sweatshirt), Angus (white shirt/ blue fire beanie), Weston (gray hoodie), and Jack (blue jeans/ white shoes).
